HOT steering committee moves forward:
….the committee voted to bring its recommendations and initial plans to city and county elected leaders and to pursue state funding to continue economic development studies for the area.
But some members of the committee expressed concern about the region’s projected growth.
“The numbers I think are inflated,” said Kernersville Mayor Curtis Swisher, a member of the steering committee. “I don’t think there will be that many new jobs.”
