To drive a Formula One car? Massive news if so.
Last week came word that F1 operators were looking to set up shop in Charlotte to take advantage of the motor sports workforce.
Now the AP is reporting out of Madrid that current Indy car driver and bikini model Danica Patrick is a possible driver for the team.
In terms of a big PR splash, you couldn’t really ask for more than that if you are starting off a new multi-million dollar F1 team. Sponsors would presumably flock to the operation, at least at first.
And needless to say, Danica would instantly rival MJ for star power in the Charlotte sports and entertainment firmament.
Wait. Better run this idea past Center City Partners. We don’t want another Hooters or Coyote Ugly situation on our hands. Or in our laps as the case may be.
