The new Rhino Times is out today, and there you’ll find details on a performance by city manager Pam Syfert that might leave you woozy. Syfert is actually spinning property crime stats featuring groups of young people committing multiple offenses as 1) Not really that big a deal and 2) Not evidence of gangs in Charlotte. Huh?
Thankfully, city councilman/probation officer Warren Turner does not have to rely on Syfert and her staff for his crime info and he sets the record straight, calling Syfert’s performance “a form of denial” and regrettable.
