Remember how $200,000 for the Greensboro Coliseum’s luxury suites fell victim to the city’s belt-tightening measures? Alas and alack, Item 37 on the consent agenda for tomorrow night’s City Council meeting:

Resolution approving Capital Fund expenditures from a portion of the seventy percent (70%) net proceeds of the Occupancy Tax received from the Greensboro/Guilford County Tourism Development Authority from the original Guilford County three percent Room Occupancy Tax for the expansion of the Coliseum and debt reduction.

Surely that item will get pulled. I wonder just how much is a portion of the 70 percent of the 3 percent?
