That seems to be the conclusion of Sen. John Kerry about what the Democrats need to do in order to win elections. Today’s “Congressional Quarterly Midday Update” contains this item:

The Boston GLOBE reports Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., “has begun building a nationwide grass-roots movement, with plans for a multimillion-dollar political action committee and a tax-exempt advocacy group, and a network of 3 million supporters he hopes to deploy to help on local races across the country.” The Globe says that next month Kerry “will begin raising money in earnest for his new political action committee, which will help recruit and finance Democratic candidates at the local level, and provide seed grants to people with new and innovative ideas for how to reach voters.” He has already given $1 million donations to both the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Democratic National Committee,
“where his money was earmarked for hiring more local organizers.”

What Kerry seems unwilling to accept is that people heard his policies loud and clear — both for and against most issues — and a majority of those who voted in November rejected his message(s). The Left still doesn’t understand it’s their policies that are losers, not their organizers.
