This is not good, but not a surprise.
North Carolina’s 11.2 percent jobless rate widens the gap over the national rate to 1.2 points. In effect, the state has had 11 percent unemployment for a year now as there is no reason to expect January’s numbers to show improvement.
Memo to Raleigh: You are doing it wrong.
