Huh, what do you know, SC Rep. Joe Wilson was right when he lost it and blurted “you lie” at President Obama. The facts of the matter are on Wilson’s side. Who says so?
The Obama White House. In a late Friday night admission that Wilson was correct, the Obama administration let slip a “clarification” on how universal health care would intersect with millions of illegal immigrants. Turns out you do need some sort of verification system to keep illegals out of the system.
But Congressional Democrats have steadfastly opposed precisely the verification system that Obama now says he wants. To recap, Demos kill verification, Obama says his plan will have verification, Wilson says that is not true, Obama says he really wants verification. OK.
Next up would be some sort of legislative language supported by the President which would make clear that illegals would not receive any contemplated taxpayer-provided health benefits.
