Or something like that. USA Today had a story listing “10 great places to drink in the Super Bowl action.” Among them was Plaza-Midwood’s very own Thomas Street Tavern, someplace I’ve been in a time or thousand. It’s a great bar but it’s not a sports bar and that showed during the Super Bowl (yes I was there), when Thomas Street was not even half full and they turned the juke box back on immediately after the game ended (no listening to the post-game interviews).

Bonus Observation: It’s nice to talk about how dog-friendly the patio out front is, but if you can’t actually see the game from there, what’s the point?
