June wants to be re-elected state superintendent of public instruction. According to the News and Observer, “She said she would also focus on improving professional development for teachers.” In other words, “vote for me teachers!”
I hope that Eddie Davis, president of NCAE, decides to run for the post. That Atkinson-Davis matchup would be a lot of fun to watch.
