Downtown Hendersonville used to be a nice place. It was one of the reasons I moved to the area. In recent years, however, local government has been so into place-making, driving downtown has turned into an aggravation. The last excavations have healed, so now the city wants to tear itself up again to create gateways to the downtown area, which is only about three streets wide in most places. Oh, and don’t forget the bosques.
