Local super lawyer Bill Diehl will have a field day now that his client has officially been fired as head of the local United Way.
The charity will either pay a handsome settlement of a wrongful termination suit — even one that is never really filed — or watch Diehl drag the board members through the courts, asking all kinds of impolite questions about compensation and fund-raising.
I predict this all be quietly settled over the holidays in December. Then again, I though Bob Steel had a plan.
