Okay, that’s not the lead (spoiler), but that’s what I thought when I had to watch a pivotal scene in a woman’s bathroom between Gregory House, superstar head of diagnostic medicine, and his doctor in training, #13.

Plastered on the wall and running between both stalls in which the conversation was taking place was a “Change” bumper sticker. I immediately thought Obama — which goes to show you how effective the campaign has been at owning the word. This, despite the fact that the sticker definitely wasn’t an Obama-sanctioned piece of flair.

Some are claiming that the placement of the sticker is a tacit endorsement of Obama by some components of the production crew. However, I think there was a little more to the placement of the ad. One, it was in the bathroom (is that good or bad?). Two, and this one will require some research, the only other item in the scene out-of-the-ordinary was a bit of graffiti in House’s stall. I’ve got the episode DVR’d, and will freeze-frame it tonight to get a closer look. Something in me says that there’s a reason why that graffiti was the only other message in the scene.
