The mainstream media has always (still does) looked down on rural folks, country folks. If they shop at WalMart they’re somehow a little less human than, say, those in Manhattan or LA. But any of us who grew up in the rural South or whose parents did and whose grandparents still live there, know there’s more to those folks than cornpone and chittlins.

One urban dweller was surprised to find wisdom in a little corner of West Virginia recently. Give her credit, though. She knew it when she saw it:
