David Boaz of Cato Institute observes here that libertarians are not of one mind regarding Right to Work statutes. To a degree, they interfere with contractual freedom and therefore can’t be seen as ideal. Other libertarians argue that because the federal government has already ruined contractual freedom in the labor market, RTW is a reasonable step in the right direction.
I’m with David Henderson in the latter camp.
