Jonah Goldberg agrees witha report from the Norman Lear Center!
The
report documents why state and local government are becoming the
leading edge of socialism–people don’t know what happens there. When
we decide to watch the local news, there’s no coverage of local
government. We know the governor of California and the mayor of New
York than we do the mayor of Holly Springs or anybody on the Wake
County School Board. Charles Rangel is probably more familiar to people
than Charles Meeker. These comments obviously don’t apply to
the extremely engaged Locker Room readers and writers. Any ideas what
else we can do to make it easier for others to follow state and local
politics?
