Here is a great column by Deroy Murdock on the subject of the amazingly vitriolic reaction to the recent publication by the Tennessee Center for Policy Research of Al Gore’s big appetite for energy. Criticize a left-wing evangelist for saying one thing while doing the opposite, and you’ll be deluged with hate mail from his true believers.
Of course, if the people at TCPR had just taken issue with the accuracy of Gore’s claims that we face imminent global catastrophe unless we do exactly what he tells us — the reaction would have been just the same.
