Several John Locke Foundation analysts shared their expertise with North Carolina radio listeners this week. Carolina Journal Executive Editor Don Carrington spoke with Tara Servatius of Charlotte’s WBT Radio about a recent CJ article involving private air transportation offered to Gov. Mike Easley. The News & Observer‘s “Under the Dome” column highlighted Carrington’s work as well. After the Charlotte Observer quoted Meck Deck blogger Jeff Taylor‘s comments about delaying a Mecklenburg County property revaluation, Taylor discussed that topic, baseball in uptown Charlotte, and other subjects in two radio interviews. He appeared on WDYT’s late morning show, “The Brainstorm,” and with Tara Servatius on WBT. JLF Vice President for Development Chad Adams spent time this week on Matt Mittan’s “Take A Stand Show” on WWNC in Asheville. Adams and Mittan discussed the upcoming elections and Wednesday’s John Locke Foundation Headliner presentation from conservative syndicated columnist Cal Thomas. (The Asheville Citizen-Times also covered that presentation.) Adams has been so busy with radio appearances in recent weeks that he was finally able to report them to the Impact Report staff. In addition to this week’s appearance, Adams discussed election issues last week with Curtis Wright on Wilmington’s “Big Talker.” Adams hit a radio trifecta two weeks ago today, appearing with Mittan, Wright, and WTKF’s Lockwood Phillips in connection with an Americans for Prosperity summit in Washington, D.C.
