Our good friend Matt Mittan of WWNC NewsTalk 580 AM in Asheville was forcibly removed for taking issue with the Asheville City Council’s decision to have partisan elections now that Independent registrations outnumber Republican. Mittan did not name an individual council member, never threatened a council member, never used profane language and never engaged council members in a discussion. One wonders why he needed to be forcibly removed under threat of arrest. But I though Asheville’s tilt to the left was supposed to show their open mindedness?
