A Horry County Council candidate has his campaign manager up and resign, posting an open letter about it all on the candidate’s own Web site which the campaign manager, not the candidate, evidently controls.
Better still, Republican candidate Keith Van Winkle initially told a newspaper reporter that Mark Minervini was not his campaign manager — and then had to retract that statement in a posting to the paper’s Web site.
Whew. Isn’t it a relief to know that Mecklenburg County may not have the most dysfunctional local politics in the Carolinas?
