Let’s all hope that the local Democratic Party gets this special election done right. The way it is headed there could be a dozen candidates come Monday, all trying to replace Valerie Woodard.
CMS board member George Dunlap obviously has the highest name ID and clearly expects to get the nod. But I find it interesting that Black Political Caucus Operative Dwayne Collins through his hat into the ring despite Dunlap’s manifest interest. Is there a nascent Anybody But Dunlap coalition out there?
We’ll soon find out. At least I hope it is all settled quickly and cleanly.
