A Raleigh law firm has filed a motion for a Randolph County Superior Court judge to vacate his order sealing the video tape of UNC student Courtland Smith’s fatal altercation with Archdale police officers.
The firm of Everett, Gaskins, Hancock & Stevens LLP filed the motion on behalf of The High Point Enterprise, the News & Observer of Raleigh, WRAL-TV of Raleigh, The Associated Press and the Daily Tarheel.
