Libertarian candidate for governor Mike Munger is known for his colorful quips about politics and public policy. He didn’t disappoint at last night’s debate with Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory. Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue did not appear. Here’s Munger’s description of economic incentives, according to the News & Observer:

“This focus on trying to pay companies to come here is basically economic prostitution that’s not going to last in the long run.”
