The San Francisco Chronicle’s politics blog is highlighting a 2006 speech former North Carolina Senator John Edwards gave at the University of California-Davis to discuss poverty. Edwards was paid $55,000 for his talk titled “Poverty, the great moral issue facing America.”
The blog post also shows other university speeches that Edwards gave in 2006 where he brought in more than $285,000 for nine college appearances.
Just another in the long line of Edwards’ “Do As I Say, Not as I Do,” approach to politics.
