At its weekend retreat, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education raised the possibility of more school bonds for the 2010 election.

The possibilities are wide and varied, but chairman Donny Lambeth did warn against mixing a bond referendum with the board’s shift to nonpartisan elections. I’m not sure I see the connection — a candidate is either for borrowing more money in a down economy or he’s against it. Not that hard.
