From CBS comes this pathetic comment from a New Jersey legislative leader who may seek to challenge Gov. Chris Christie.
New Jersey Senate President Stephen Sweeney (D-Gloucester) said Monday that Gov. Chris Christie might have “prayed” for Superstorm Sandy, because it has provided cover for what Sweeney said are the governor’s failed economic policies.
At least Sweeney had a moment of decency and apologized for his ghoulish, insulting remark.
Imagine the outrage if a North Carolina Senate conservative had made this remark about Gov. Perdue and a super storm that had brought misery, death, and damage to our state.
