How, I ask, does this not just knock the blocks out from under the global warming alarmists’ agruments?:

There’s a natural cause that may account for much of the Arctic warming, which has melted sea ice, ice sheets and glaciers, according to a study published Thursday in the journal Nature. New research points a finger at a natural and cyclical increase in the amount of energy in the atmosphere that moves from south to north around the Arctic Circle.

Note the headline, “Natural causes may also play role in Arctic thaw,” my emphasis added. That conjectural “may” is used throughout the story, as it should be. But it should also be used in any story about man-made global warming ruining the planet, but it’s not. Interesting also the helpful discovery of another cause of global warming that can be said to work in concert with unproven human causes. How convenient. They win either way.
