While I can appreciate your comment about what appears to be a heartfelt moment, one must recall that Morgan’s nemesis, ex-legislator Art Pope, was more likely the ire of his 527 comments.
Though used in previous elections by Morgan, the fact that free citizens, spending their own money, are part of the election process in the form of 527s are quite likely the cause of this unusual behavior.
