My disappointment in Duke’s loss today was tempered by my Georgia Bulldogs beating two teams in about eight hours in the tornado-delayed SEC Tournament today.

First, they downed the hated Kentucky Wildcats in overtime in Georgia Tech’s Alexander Memorial Coliseum, where the game was moved because of storm damage to the Georgia Dome. Then, only a few hours later they had to face Mississippi State, which they just defeated 64-60.

Now the question is, after two games in one day can they come back and beat Arkansas for the SEC title? If they do, it’ll be a fairytale end of a trying season for Georgia Coach Dennis Felton:

He’s dealt with academic suspensions. He’s dealt with injuries. He’s dealt with pocket knife suspensions. He’s dealt with jay walking suspensions. He’s dealt with bad bounces, tough breaks, bad calls, you name it and Dennis Felton has faced it this season.

UPDATE: Here’s the story. Four SEC wins all season and then three in two days.
