I posted in February about a 240 mph car being built in Durham with a body made entirely of wood. Now comes word that a 220 mpg hybrid car is being built in Mooresville:
Hybrid Technologies is aiming for a 150- to 180-mi. range per charge from the all-electric model, while the lithium-ion-meets-gas hybrid needs to hit 220 mpg—minimum.
