This morning the train I rode in had to lock it down at Park Avenue because a pedestrian had stepped out in front of us. I don’t know whether to nominate these individuals for Darwin Awards and just write it off as the inevitable clearing up of the gene pool or what.
We still have many weeks of training pedestrians and drivers to make way for the trains. Let’s hope a couple near misses is all we hear about.
