There is some official sniffing around of the Landmark Communications paper by the owner of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
The News-Record — along with all the Landmark paper holdings, which include The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk — have had a “for sale” sign hung on them for several months now. Could be we are entering a phase where valuations will be discussed. Stay tuned.
