Kari Travis reports for Carolina Journal Online that an emergency UNC Board of Governors meeting scheduled this afternoon has prompted some BOG members to ask for the board chairman’s resignation.
Published reports suggest the meeting has been scheduled for the board to meet with former U.S. Education Secretary Margaret Spellings as a candidate for UNC system president.
