Thanks to the Internet, blogs are preempting newspapers, providing the unrefined hearsay of the common man that drives future “newsworthy” investigations. The web of Internet blogs created by the JLF has had their fill of preemptive news stories. JLF‘s Charlotte blog, The Meck Deck broke the story on the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce polling registered voters in Mecklenburg. The Triangle blog, Right Angles, ruminated on the rumor that Paxton Media folks were going to kill The Chapel Hill Herald.  The idea landed in a story for the Independent Weekly. Another source of information, satire, is not new – at least to those on the Right. Live on the air, Rush Limbaugh read Jon Sanders‘s latest piece for Townhall.com in which he discusses the misunderstanding of satire by the Left.
