My favorite phrase came to me in a dream early this morning.
Actually, it wasn’t a dream, it was just NPR’s all-Obama coverage. Renee Montagne interviews Newt Gingrich, bringing up the subject of ‘shovel-ready’ projects as part of the Obama stimulus plan.
In response, Newt wonders if “they’re shovel-ready projects that get you beyond temporary employment of shovels.”
