The City of Durham must be using Durham DA Mike Nifong as a role model. When it did tests of 166 homes last summer and fall to test lead levels in water, it chose to report only 69 of those tests, which, coincidentally, showed the city to be in compliance with EPA rules. But when all the tests were used, the city failed miserably. Gee, that seems pretty much like what Nifong did with the DNA tests taken after a stripper accused Duke lacrosse players of raping her. The tests that exonerated the players were just hidden by Nifong. It’s a new Durham tradition.
