That was Nifong’s reaction to the evidence presented to him in his first meeting with Investigator Ben Himan and Sgt. Mark Gottlieb, according to Himan’s testimony just now. He was reacting to inconsistencies in evidence, such as Mangum wanting to go back into the house to make more money AFTER she had supposedly been raped by three players. So, why did Nifong pursue such a case if it was so f—-d? I guess we’ll find out.
