Things don’t get a whole lot better, or clearer, once the budget is a done deal. Locke Foundation analysts Joe Coletti and Chad Adams researched the fiscal transparency of cities and counties in this Spotlight report. Overall, Durham got a grade of C-.

Bottom line: Durham and other Triangle governments need more online transparency.
