Lots of chatter out there about new Greensboro City Manager Rashad Young’s statement that he won’t be reading local blogs.
Honestly, my gut reaction was not to give a hoot if Young reads blogs or not. All I care about is his performance. But Guarino’s got a point— someone’s got to hold the city manager accountable for his actions, because the local paper of record —– based on its performance with the previous city manager — sure won’t do it. We shouldn’t expect the Rhino to do it all on its own, though they do a pretty good job.
