The News & Observer is still attempting to explain how Ron Margiotta, as chair of the Wake County school board, will lead an effort to push families out of public schools and into private schools.
Here goes…
Step 1: The abandonment of forced busing is popular with residents of southwest Wake County.
Step 2: But the end of forced busing will lead to overcrowding, which residents of southwest Wake County do not like.
Step 3: The school board has not indicated how they will deal with overcrowding, such as building schools in the overcrowded areas. Rather than try to work with the school board to solve this imaginary problem or elect a school board member in Ron’s seat (in 2011) that digs forced busing (thereby creating a school board majority that would resume the nasty policy), parents will leave the system in disgust.
Step 4: Dissatisfied families in southwest Wake County will go to Thales Academy in Apex because, even though Margiotta was to blame for the overcrowding, they want to reward him by attending the school that he is affiliated with.
Ron Margiotta gives the “Emperor from Star Wars laugh” in a dark room somewhere very evil and very racist.
