Rush Limbaugh’s program yesterday highlighted comments from North Carolina’s freshman 11th District Congressman, Heath Schuler, linking to the linked article from Media General News Service:
WASHINGTON ? The significance of Democratic Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s election as the first female Speaker of the House was not lost on the newest member of North Carolina’s congressional delegation, Rep. Heath Shuler.
“It was a milestone, and to be able to tell my daughter that she was there is quite significant,” said Shuler ….
Rush says that Schuler claimed Pelosi was an “inspiration” to Schuler’s two year old daughter, but the Media General piece doesn’t have that phrase in it now. Fortunately, Rush blamed him on Tennessee’s voters.
