The 2008 election was certainly historic, but it’s not the first presidential election to bring out high emotions and make its mark in history.
Duke University’s Perkins Library is featuring an exhibit called “7 Elections That Changed U.S. History.” It runs through December 14.
The elections featured are: 1800, 1828, 1872, 1912, 1928, 1948, and 1968.
