In December US Airways announced plans for a second summer-seasonal flight from Charlotte to Frankfurt, Germany. It’s now no loner showing in their online schedules. Blame high full prices and/or weak demand. In any case, it’s back to what we had before, with a single year-round daily to FRA.
The other new summer seasonal flights from Charlotte — Dublin, Ireland and Madrid, Spain — are still a go as of now.
Update: Rumor I’ve heard is that US Airways made the extra flight available hoping them could get reasonable slots in Frankfurt. That didn’t happen so they dropped it.
