Fifty days or so later, the Board of Elections has finally certified Doug McCollough’s win over Cressie Thigpen for a seat on the North Carolina Court of Appeals. So much for that “instant” runoff process. Here’s hoping this is the last time we see the “instant” runoff debacle in this state.
