CNN is reporting that the Atlanta suburb of Sandy Springs (pop. 80K) has been cut free from the city and has outsourced all its non-emergency government services to CH2M Hill — and two other cities are considering it. The American Federation of Municipal Employees thinks it’s A Very Bad Idea, though, surprise.
