I guess the N&R figures there’s no harm in blatant cheerleading now that ground has already been broken on Greensboro’s taxpayer-funded aquatics center.
Ed Hardin —-normally Mr. Skeptical —– checks out Charlotte’s downtown aquatic center and gives us an idea of “just what could be coming to town in a couple of years and generations to come.” That’s the second rah-rah piece to grace the paper’s sports section is as many weeks.
Coming in tomorrow’s Sunday Ideas section —- the “promise of Aquatics Center for all of us.” I can’t wait.
