N&R editor John Robinson says reporter Robert Bell was terminated for using “phrasing and sentences from stories in other newspapers in numerous cases.”
Robinson does not point to particular stories in which Bell plagarized other writers’ works. Bell was the N&R’s point man on the Northern Guilford High School recruiting scandal, and I thought he did a pretty good job.
