Today’s Wall Street Journal has a revealing editorial on a money-losing company in Wisconsin that Obama just praised on a campaign/fundraising tour.
Why should taxpayer funds go to any business? Nothing in the Constitution authorizes Congress to appropriate money for the support of businesses, no matter what they do. Once again, we’re paying the price for having gone from a government with limited, enumerated powers to one of virtually unlimited power.
