What a shameful, shameful period in American politics. More than anything it shows just how flawed our current system for selecting political leaders has become. Edwards, Craig, Clinton, Livingston, Gingrich, Ensign, Spitzer, Sanford… Just how many needy narcissists must we chase from public office?
You know what, at this point I would much rather have brutal honesty than any more of this charade. “Hi, I’m Tom Jones and this is my beautiful wife of 20 years, Honey, and our four beautiful kids, Trish, Trig, T’becka, and Tom Jr. And this is my mistress of 62 days, Astrid. Astrid is an art student and a Leo, and will do things my wife stopped doing 21 years ago.”
