Per the request of Under The Dome, here’s a link to an interesting document. It leads to a 188-page PDF file detailing what State Treasurer Richard Moore has invested pension money in.
The idea is to eyeball the list and see if you find anything interesting.
Update: Here’s a fun quick fact. Out of millions of shares owned and billions invested, somehow Moore has not quite a full share of McClatchy, then valued at $33. Today the stock is trading at $26.75, just off its 52-week low.
Smart man. Smarter? Dump it.
Update II: Rock n roll portfolio? We got some Harley Davidson, Guitar Center, Boston Beer, and A-B. Maybe Moore just likes those stockholder meetings.
