- upheld a lower court’s ruling against the City of Wilson Redevelopment Commission in a case involving eminent domain.
- upheld a lower court’s ruling against the Town of Beaufort and its Historic Preservation Commission in a dispute over development in a historic district.
- reversed, for a second time, a lower-court order barring a public school employee from securing a pay raise linked to national board certification.
